This was one of my first casting designs when I started merchanting Society for Creative Anachronism events. When I started casting I did not have the equipment to do lost wax but wanted to produce variations on pieces without having to make every one up from scratch (and have to charge for many hours of labor on each one) so I got really good at sandcasting jewelry. This is a heavy piece(almost 3\/4 of an ounce of Sterling Silver) with garnet cabochons.
